Hi I have a partial horizontal crack in a cylinder length of wood
This was a structural piece of wood what would offer the strongest bond (it split due to tension in heavy wind) It cant be replaced
1. cylinder rods drilled and filled with epoxy but it would be at an angle to the wood grain like picture 2 shows
Would this be strong when not aligned with wood grain? This is was the plan
